More than 15 EndSARS protesters who sustained gunshot wounds in Lagos visited the Lagos State Court of Arbitration and Mediation in Lekki, venue of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters.

14 of them were reportedly shot at Lekki Toll Gate on the evening of October 20, while one was said to have been shot Ojodu Berger.

Among the entourage was Mr Nathaniel Solomon, whose younger brother Abouta Solomon was also shot dead at the toll gate.

The deceased was later buried in his hometown in Mubi Local Government Area of Adamawa State, and Aiyedungbe Olufunmi Grace, whose brother died at LASUTH after suffering gunshot wounds to the head.

In an interview with The Nation, Grace said that after her brother’s death, the hospital authorities reversed to say he died of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, The Nigerian Army keeps denying allegations that it shot at peaceful protesters, saying it merely fired blanks into the air to disperse stone throwers. Both photos and video evidence coming up keep proving otherwise.
