Nigerian Senators dumps APC and PDP for labor party and NNPP

Two sitting senators have officially announced their decamping from PDP and APC on Wednesday June 22nd.

Senator Francis Onyewusi (Imo East) who is a first-timer in the Senate, was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and he defected to Labour Party (LP).

His counterpart in Bauchi, Haliru Dauda Jika (Bauchi Central) was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and he defected to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Their letters of declaration was read by the senate president as they pointed out the fact that there was injustices and corruption in both parties which led to them failing the primaries election.
