EPLNews: Man Utd new manager Ten Hag confirms first signing
Incoming Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has begun move to sign Tyrell Malacia for the Premier League side, the UK Mirror reports.
Malacia, who plays for Feyenoord, goes by the nicknam, “pitbull” in Holland.
Although Ten Hag failed to sign the 22-year-old left-back for Ajax last summer ,to Malacia due to the huge rivalry with Feyenoord.
But a £20million offer will tempt Feyenoord into selling to United, after Ten Hag has identified the full-back positions as a major weakness at his new club.
Malacia will challenge Luke Shaw for his place in United’s team. Ten Hag also wants a new right-back to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
