The first performer was fourteen-year-old Mariandrea Villegas from Mexico who charmed everyone with her adorable and cute presence as she took the stage to showcase her contemporary dancing skills, including some impressive contortionist moves. Choosing the perfect song and performing with great emotion, the judges were impressed and all voted “yes” to send her to the next round.
Next, the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus, who were representing the military division from North Carolina. They honored their fallen comrades, including Specialist Elijah Crawford, through a powerful performance. Dressed in fatigues, they started with a marching routine before transitioning into a mashup of ‘My Girl’ and ‘I’ve Got Sunshine’.
