Music stars, Kanye West and Drake on Thursday night, December 9 come together to perform each other’s hit songs while on stage together.
The sight of Kanye West and Drake on stage together was one fans was surprised about, because of their long-running feud. However, they put that to performed in a concert for convicted felon Larry Hoover who has been in jail for five decades over gang affiliated crimes.
Larry Hoover, 71, is in one of the most secure prisons in the US and Kanye even dedicated a song ‘Jesus is lord’ to the Chicago native, where he also features his son, Larry Hoover Jr.
Ye’s show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was his first headline performance in five years, the organisers said.
He performed various of Drake’s hits Find Your Love which he produced while Drake performed Kanye’s 24 and some other songs.
In 1973 he was convicted for ordering the killing of a 19-year-old neighbourhood drug dealer and sentenced to 150-200 years.
In 1997 he was given six life sentences after being found guilty of federal drug conspiracy, extortion and continuing to engage in a criminal enterprise.
Raised in Chicago, Ye has supported Larry Hoover for a while and has been trying to get him out of prison.
