Omah Lay,Tope Alabi, Mercy Chinwo make Boomplay’s 2021 most streamed artistes

Streaming service giant, Boomplay music has released the most streamed artiste and songs from November 1, 2020, to October 31, 2021, in Nigeria.

Nigerian Afropop star, Olamide was announced as the most-streamed male artiste with Omah Lay taking second position ahead of Burna Boy.

The top female artiste was Teni, with Tope Alabi second while Mercy Chinwo was third.

In the top searched artistes category, Bella Shmurda sits first with Davido and Naira Marley coming second and third respectively.

Joeboy’s Sip (Alcohol) which had one of the most viral challenges in 2021 came third on fast-rising songs to hit one million streams.
