Fivio Foreign reveals how Beyonce made him remove lyrics talking bad about girls before allowing him sample Destiny’s Child’s song

With his his debut album B.I.B.L.E, set to be released soon Fivio Foreign has talked on the requirements to get a sampled song cleared.

Fivio has a Coi Leray and Queen Naija-assisted tracked titled “What’s My Name” which samples Destiny’s Child hit song “Say My Name.”

He said that Beyoncé insisted he “clean up” the record’s vulgar content before giving her blessing to use it for his song.

Fivio said:

“Shoutout Destiny’s Child, appreciate that, they cleared that joint.
“[John ‘Big John’ Platt] and them. [Beyoncé] had to hear it. She heard it. It was a little vulgar, a little bit for her, at first.
“I cleaned it up, I cleaned it up, I cleaned it up a lot. It was like, ‘You can’t be talking about girls like that!’
“Afterward, Big John and them explained to me, it’s a bigger record now and it made sense.”
