Angelina Jolie dodges question on her ‘friendship’ with The Weekend
American Actress Angelina Jolie surved away from responding on her friendship with The Weeknd who is her co-star in new movie, Eternals.
The gig began when the 46-year-old Jolie was promoting the film with co-star Salma Hayek on US daytime talk show E! Daily Pop.
Then the host Justin Sylvester inquired if her children were more happy by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd.
She however gave a frosty response even though they’ve been spotted out together. Jolie awkwardly replied: “They’re very excited about this film… If that’s what you’re asking,” she said as she looked as her co-star Salma. She added in a quieter tone: “They’re very excited about this film.”
Angelina and The Weeknd reportedly had dinner several times this year but told their pals they are “just friends”, insiders think they are having a romance.
A source told Us Weekly :
“Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on.
“She’s definitely warming toward Abel. He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”
