Seoul Mayor found dead after missing for few hours

The Mayor of Seoul, Park Won-soon, was found dead after missing for few hours on July 9 in Beiyue Mountain, Seoul, NAN reports.

The South Korean police, while confirming his death, explained that they found Park’s body at Mount Bugak in northern Seoul hours after lots of officers began search for him.

The police revealed the team swing into full search after they getting the report of Park Yuanchun’s disappearance on Thursday.

According to the police, he was found near where his phone signal was last detected however the cause of death is will be revealed on further investigation.

Some Korean media are reporting that Park Won-sun’s daughter told the police on the afternoon of Thursday that Park Won-sun disappeared after leaving similar words on the day, and then lost contact and switched off his phone.

Also, information released by the police and fire department, from his CCTV records, showed that Park left his residence in Seoul that morning and passed a park in Jongno District, Seoul.

It was also reported that he did not show up for work on Thursday, and he also canceled his 9-day work schedule due to new physical discomfort.
